Damage from misuse, improper cleaning, moisture, humidity, or environmental exposure. Damage from pets, children, or third-party cleaning products. Damage from moving or relocating the piece after delivery. Normal wear and tear — including patina on wood, leather, and metal. Unauthorised modifications. Commercial use unless agreed in writing.

Report the defect to support@houseofakara.com within 30 days of discovering it. Include your invoice, photographs, and a description. We respond within 5 working days. If confirmed, we repair or replace at no cost. The decision to repair or replace is ours.

Yes. Wood develops a deeper tone. Leather softens and gains character. Metal may develop a subtle patina. These changes are natural and expected — it is how these materials age.

If a force majeure event (natural disaster, supply chain disruption, government order) delays your delivery by more than 30 days beyond the estimated date, you may cancel for a full refund.
